"Starlinks III - Environment plays a huge influence. Working in a cramped space, the shapes in her compositions gathered and butted against each other. On moving to a spacious new studio three years ago, the forms in her paintings began to float. Starlinks III is a reference to satellite junk in space. Moving shapes around is a gesture that speaks of nomadic journeys and destinations."
